T A Matthews has been serving Herefordshire for a century or more, providing a wide range of legal services and support for private, commercial or farming clients. Our approach is to provide practical, straightforward legal advice in an efficient and cost-effective manner. A Little of our History

T A Matthews was founded in 1909, when Thomas Alfred Matthews set up the practice at 6/7 King Street, Hereford.

Until 1992, a member of the Matthews’ family had worked alongside others to provide a full range of legal services to Herefordshire and beyond. We are very proud of our heritage, so we are still T A Matthews today.

In 2013, we moved from 6/7 King Street to Broadway House, a modern office building in Broad Street, allowing us space to extend our team and services and welcome clients in more modern and efficient surroundings.

We are proud to have longstanding clients across Herefordshire (and beyond). For their convenience we opened our Leominster office in Broad Street in 1983. Our team there can provide a full range of services and experts from Leominster and Hereford are always happy to meet you at either office.
