We are seeking a Lawyer with strong experience across family law matters and general civil litigation. This role suits a confident, proactive lawyer who can manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision and deliver high‑quality client service.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Managing a mixed caseload of family law files and litigation matters from instruction to resolution
    • Handling family law matters such as divorce, financial remedy, cohabitation disputes, and private children matters
    • Advising clients on disputes including contract issues, property matters, debt recovery, and contentious probate
    • Drafting pleadings and legal documents including statements of case, applications, witness statements, and settlement agreements
    • Conducting advocacy at hearings where appropriate
    • Liaising with counsel, experts, and third parties
    • Negotiating settlements and representing clients in mediation
    • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm-wide procedures
    • Contributing to business development and maintaining strong client relationships

 Required Skills & Experience:

    • Qualified Lawyer with minimum 5 years PQE in litigation and/or family law
    • Strong technical knowledge of civil procedure and family law processes
    • Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
    • Confident communicator with strong client‑facing skills
    • Experience conducting advocacy is desirable but not essential
    • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to practice development

We are looking for an experienced Private Client Lawyer to join a well-established private client team that continues to grow. You will be joining a settled and supportive team made up of experienced and junior lawyers and dedicated support staff. The role offers plenty of good-quality work readily available alongside senior support where required.

Key Responsibilities: 

    • Managing your own caseload of Wills and Probate work
    • Advising clients with clarity, care and professionalism
    • Maintaining high standards of client care and compliance
    • Contributing to the continued development of the private client department

Required Skills & Experience: 

    • Private Client Solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE
    • Strong experience handling Wills and Probate matters independently
    • Comfortable running a full caseload with minimal supervision

    • STEP qualified or keen to work towards STEP

You’ll handle a broad range of interesting and complex property matters while working closely with other departments to offer holistic legal advice. Key Responsibilities:

You’ll advise on a broad range of matters, including:

    • Acquisitions & disposals
    • Landlord & tenant
    • Development & property finance
    • Agricultural & rural land including a diverse range of agricultural property matters, including sales, purchases, tenancy advice, and easement agreements.
    • Work closely with colleagues across multiple departments, offering comprehensive legal services to clients.
    • Play an active role in the firm’s business development initiatives, attending events, and developing key client relationships.

Required Skills & Experience:

    • Solicitor or Legal Executive with 2+ years’ PQE in commercial property including agricultural property
    • Strong technical and client-facing skills
    • Commercially minded and eager to progress
    • A keen interest in agricultural matters, with a strong understanding of the sector
    • Excellent commercial awareness, and the ability to think strategically.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
    • A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
