IHT Reporting Requirements Reduced

HMRC have announced measures which are aimed at reducing the number of occasions when a report has to be made for IHT purposes. Draft regulations published recently will apply to excepted transfers and excepted settlements and are intended to greatly reduce the occasions when a report has to be made to HMRC.
It is likely that the measures will be included in the Budget on 12 March.
